Changing the script, life, appreciation, avocado smoothies, epigenetic reboot, world peace meditation, and Abe

# 1 – Stimulating, insightful excerpt from a post by Fiona Craig….

You Can Change The Script Any Time

I went to a lovely uplifting talk the other night with Lee Harris, a channeler and intuitive who speaks and writes with warmth and clarity about a variety of interesting topics. During his talk one of the themes he brought up was around how we interact with others and how we tend to follow a ‘script’, and how it’s sometimes very refreshing to change the script.

It got me thinking about the scripts we write within ourselves – how we perceive and talk to ourselves (mentally or, dare I say, verbally!). This topic has also been on my mind a bit after hearing some talks by Marisa Peer, a well-known psychologist and hypnotherapist who spoke at length around self-talk and the power it has.

If we pay attention, we begin to realise there are a lot of scripts.

One might be “Oh my GOD I am so tired I had to get up early this morning, I hate getting up early, I’m going to be tired for the rest of the day, ooofff….”

Another might be “I am so stressed out right now. I have a huge mountain of work to do, I just don’t have time, it’s killing me.”

Another might be self-judgement: “I am so lazy. I am really good at procrastinating. I am this and I am that.”

When we understand the power and energy behind words, and how energy works, suddenly we realise: I am adding the energy of: tired, hate, stressed, killing me, lazy, blah blah – to my energy field. Every time!! And what happens – the feelings just get exacerbated and energetically we just reinforce that energy. So, we continue to feel- tired, hateful, stressed, lazy, procrastinating, etc.

Further to that, it actually has an impact on our physical bodies. If you read my post on the vibrational scale, these energies also have an impact on our physical wellbeing. Higher vibrations like love and joy lead to vibrancy, health and harmony in the body. The lower vibrations like fear, guilt and shame facilitate distortion, disease and pain in the body. This is why stress is the number one cause of disease – stress arises ultimately from thoughts based in fear, guilt, shame and anger around situations.

What if we choose to change the script? What can it be instead? A simple example: “I love getting up early. It means I have plenty of time to do all the things I want to in the morning. I feel a little tired but it’s no big deal.” Try it. I was surprised to find that getting up early really was no big deal, after changing the script. Beforehand I was always hitting the snooze button!

It’s a trivial example, but it can be applied to just about anything.

# 5 – Conscious co-creation!

The Universe knows all things and is responding to the vibration that you are sending. When you are sending your vibration on purpose, you are orchestrating what the Universe is aligning for you. –Abraham

# 6 – And speaking of conscious co-creation, here’s an event tomorrow, Feb. 1st, you can take part in to consciously create more peace in the world…….

Millions of people will join together to prove the power of synchronized prayer

To begin, the time of the vigil/meditation is as follows:

7AM Pacific US Time
10AM Eastern US Time
3PM London Time
5PM Israel Time
4AM (Tuesday) Auckland Time

James Twyman and the religious leaders will be within eyesight of the ISIL villages.

Thanks to The Abrahamic Reunion in Israel, James will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders on a hill overlooking the villages where so many Syrians are suffering. They will be putting themselves at risk to inspire YOU to join them for just 10-15 minutes of focused meditation at the time listed above. All you need to do is to FEEL the energy of peace, as if it is already present in Syria (This is the critical component to this type of prayer). Then visualize children in Syria being fed, people living in peace, and the government stable and serving the needs of all its citizens.

Most people believe they are powerless in the face of such violence. This is a simple way millions of people can add their energy to a positive solution for this humanitarian crisis. It has been proven over and over through other studies like the Maharishi Effect. Now we have the chance to demonstrate the power of our joined meditation and prayer. Please join at the designated time, and share this with everyone you know.

No effort, be the change, awake, animal pics, free health resources, and Abe on decisions

# 1 – Oh, I love Dr. Sue’s brand of wisdom and insight……

The Only Thing Keeping You From Being Free Is Your Effort To Be Free
It takes no effort to achieve that which already exists. By ‘efforting,’ you create the illusion that it is not already so. And then it may as well not be.
Go ahead and proceed as if you were enough, as if it were permitted, even needed. Go ahead and be as if it was only YOU here, playing your own game, to get to know yourself better and feel your own Joy. Go ahead as if it was all going to work out perfectly and nothing but celebration was in store for you.
There is evidence to that very effect. :-) — Dr. Sue Morter

# 6 – Oh, I like this one. It points to the fact of how important our self-talk is…….Interesting to consider that our beliefs about a decision we made can be as important (or maybe more so) than the actual decision itself. Hmmmm.

Make a decision and then make it right. There just are no wrong decisions. You could go this way, or that way, and either way will eventually get you to where you want to be. But in the moment you start complimenting yourself on the decision you’ve made, in that moment, you come back into vibrational alignment with who-you-really-are. –Abraham

Are you feeling “stress” or “fear”?

In just a few words, my good friend Pierre Sornin helped me reframe something so powerfully this week. I mentioned I was feeling stress, yet in his response he called it fear instead. This instantly changed my perception!
For me, the word “stress” means I’m unskilled or inexperienced at something – that I don’t have the answer or experience I need. It can lead to a seemingly endless loop of self-doubt, procrastination, and frustration. Yes – stress really is stressful for me :-)
But the word “fear” is completely different. I love fear! It always guides me into my deepest experiences and learning. My deep-seated habit is to walk toward fear (Sorry Mom!) – because I know how fantastic I’m going to feel when I get to the other side. I love the feeling of having faced my fear – whether I overcome it quickly or not. And I really love the feeling of facing the same situation – and realizing I’m no longer afraid – that I’m excited instead. That’s personal growth!
So, by simply changing 1 word – I replaced something I was running from (stress) by something I was excited about running toward (fear). What a powerful transition!
I’m curious which words you can change today? What words empower you? What words cause you so shrink and hide? Can you use an empowering word to describe your situation instead?

# 6 – And some Abe to end on……

A belief is nothing more than a chronic pattern of thought, and you have the ability—if you try even a little bit—to begin a new pattern, to tell a new story, to achieve a different vibration, to change your point of attraction. The Law of Attraction is responding to your vibration, and you can easily change your vibrational point of attraction by visualizing the lifestyle you desire and holding your attention upon those images until you begin to feel relief, which will indicate that a true vibrational shift has occurred.–Abraham

New Year’s Day 2016!

Here are some tips to get the new year off to a great start…..

# 1 – This first one is from a post by Robin & Michael Mastro featured in The Chopra Center’s newsletter…..

Create a Vedic Gratitude Altar

Altars act as focal points for creating something positive in your life. Northeast energy is the confluence of the positive magnetic energy coming from the north and the positive solar energy that comes from the east. The Northeast energy is the most powerful and positive energy in your home and specifically supports your spiritual connection to the Divine and the unseen forces that guide your daily life. An altar built in this area of your home enhances that connection.

Creating an altar focused on gratitude sets in motion the energy of attraction and brings more of what you want into your life. Practicing gratitude helps you bounce back more quickly from challenging times, and strengthens the immune system. Gratitude can also strengthen your social relationships.

# 3 – Definitely something to reflect on as you enter the new year…..

# 4 – I love this from Brian Johnson’s The Optimizer. Have felt for a long time we’re way past due for a shift from judging things as mistakes and failures to seeing everything/life as a grand experiment. Love the lab coats and goggles visual……think of how fun/exciting/interesting 2016 could/would be if we picture ourselves that way whenever we embark on something new…..

“Testing means experimenting, and as the brilliant business author Dale Dauten says, ‘Experiments never fail.’

Experiments never fail because when you are experimenting you are just as eager to find out what doesn’t work as what does. Whatever you find out helps you grow. There is no failure in that.
Experiments give you a way to play with the universe. They allow you to interact with the real world and get some interesting answers. What works? What doesn’t? Let me try again. This is starting to kick in.”

That’s from a section called “Testing vs. Trusting.” This distinction is one of the most transformative ideas I picked up from my work with Steve. In fact, I loved it so much that I sent us both a lab coat and goggles to capture the spirit of an experimenter!
Don’t wait until everything is perfect and you can finally “trust” yourself. JUST. JUMP. IN. As Emerson says, “All life is an experiment. The more experiments the better.”

—Steve Chandler from Crazy Good
