PICKS FOR TODAY:
# 1 – Love that instead of ending up in a bull-fighting ring, this big guy is being used to educate people about how compassion toward animals is the way to go….
# 2 –
“Believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke, from “Letters to a Young Poet,” translated by Stephen Mitchell
# 3 – Wisdom from psychotherapist Jennifer Welwood…….
Willing to experience aloneness,
I discover connection everywhere;
Turning to face my fear,
I meet the warrior who lives within me;
Opening to my loss and pain and ignorance,
I remember who I am and what I’m here for.
Surrendering into emptiness,
I find fullness without end.
Each condition I flee from pursues me,
Each condition I welcome transforms me
and becomes itself transformed
into the blessing it always was.
# 4 – Something for the cat lovers out there. ;-)

# 7 – And some Abe to end on…..
Fear itself is not the impediment to your joyful life. But, fear is pointing at the impediment to your joyful life. And just as the feeling of fear is within you, the impediment is within you also. — Abraham

Hi Zirah :-) Thank you for the Friday inspiration! <3 Pretty and inspiring photos. I wish bull fighting would end. I agree about facing your fears. In my experience, avoiding them or running away from them makes them worse. And more often than not facing the fear shows that there wasn't so much to be feared after all. It is a cute photo of the kitty cat. :-) I hope you have a fun and relaxing first weekend of summer! :-) <3
Glad you enjoyed the post. And, yes, it would be great if bullfighting becomes a thing of the past! Have a fun, relaxing weekend yourself!
Thanks Zirah for a great post . And a lovely surprise to wake up to what a great mix of humour enlightenment and reflection. Actually I think that sums you up beautifully
