Abraham inspired abundance tap-a-long, new Quantum Healing series, upcoming astrological happenings and more

Tips for today:

Thanks to EFT master David Childerley and his appreciation for the wisdom of Abraham, here are two video tips. The first is a free video tap-a-long for increased financial abundance inspired by some Abraham-Hicks material…

And the second is a video in which Abraham talks about the future of medicine and how healthcare professionals can best serve the people they work with…

And to top off this Abraham-focused tip section, here’s one of the latest daily quotes I received that I thought tied in nicely with the tap-a-long on abundance:

You cannot receive vibrationally something that you are not a vibrational match to. And so, bless those who are finding abundance. And in your blessing of them and their abundance, you will become abundant, too. But in your cursing of their abundance, you hold yourself apart from it. It is a law – it is a powerful law.— Abraham

#2 – The next Quantum Healing and Soul teleseminar series started on the 19th and will be running into December. Week of October 24 to 31

Last Quarter Moon in Leo and Halloween-Samhain-Day of the Dead

On Saturday we have the Last Quarter Moon in Leo, leading into the Balsamic phase of the Moon that ends this New Moon Cycle. Samhain, Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) all follow on its heels-creating an intensified “end of a cycle” dynamic.

This can be a useful time to revisit our intentions set during the New Moon and to celebrate our accomplishments. We can also release and if need be grieve the places in our lives where we have experienced endings or losses. Sometimes the most profound losses are projects or creations we have poured our love and attention into which have not, for various reasons, borne fruit.

Sometimes our efforts come too early and there is not yet enough support in the world for our dreams to manifest. Other times the process of learning was most important and the end product was not the true goal. Regardless, it is important to honor and acknowledge the feelings that come up around our miscarried creations. Truly extract all you can from this experience, and you will be given new energy for the new cycle. This is a Leo Last Quarter Moon after all and Leo is, among other things, the master Creator.

Halloween and Day of the Dead are both wonderful traditions that have carried the wisdom of our pagan ancestors into the Judeo-Christian culture. Why is it that this time of year feels so communal, so festive, so celebratory? It makes me consider that our approach to death and endings in the modern world is upside down. We barely know how to grieve, and we truly don’t understand that healthy engagement with transition and change involves a hearty and joyful celebration of what has been. But we feel it in the season of Samhain (the Gaelic predecessor of Halloween).

I think the happy community feeling has to do with a jolt of awareness of the preciousness of life–and how good it feels to be in the company of other beautiful human beings–all of us experiencing a kind of enlivening magic that stirs us down to our toes. An underlying feeling of sadnesss sharpens our experience of connection. Here in New Mexico we build Day of the Dead altars for those who have died over the past year. They are present with us. If we tune into it, we see how joy and sorrow intertwine and feed each other in a sweet and healing way at this time of year. –Tami Brunk

Chunyi Lin & Jo Dunning on Healing With the Masters, Beyond Awakening series, and interview with Wayne Dyer and Bruce Lipton

#1 – If you act quickly you may be able to catch the replay of Jo Dunning’s and Chunyi Lin’s visits on Healing With the Masters. They are two of my favorite people to listen to, and apparently series host Jennifer McLean agrees. Here’s what she had to say about Jo’s presentation…..

That fun saying ” holy fudge knockers” is one of the many wonderful sayings that falls from the mouth of my AMAZING assistant Adonya Wong. In this case it represent the intensity
appropriate for what we experienced last night on our call with the always remarkable Jo Dunning.

She answered some of the most pressing questions in many of our minds about “what the heck is going on.” AND she offered the most AMAZING special offer (you are going to seriously
freak out over this one

Her answers soothed the soul and gave such hope and even enthusiasm for what we are facing and what is happening on the planet, that I for one feel renewed. Then, of course (here is the “fudge knocker” part), she turned on that amazing energy for us all to awaken. So throughout the call there was expansive heart and soul opening energy being offered to each one of us.This call is a MUST LISTEN!”

REPLAY: Audio.htm

(the replay button for Chunyi Lin’s interview is below the section on Jo Dunning)

#2 – Here’s the link to a 2-part video clip of an interview with Drs. Bruce Lipton and Wayne Dyer. It was a tip from David Childerley (thanks David!) and I highly recommend watching, especially if you are someone who suffers from inherited disease or is just unhealthy and doesn’t believe that you can heal yourself. It contains all the latest cutting edge research …

#3 – And here’s an invitation from Claire at Feminine Power…

“Join me today, Sunday, September 26th at 5:00 PM Pacific Time (GMT-7) for my talk A New Women’s Spirituality: Unleashing the Power of the Co-Creative Feminine, as part of the exciting new of a new FREE teleseries, Beyond Awakening: The Future of Spiritual Practice hosted by my dear friend and colleague, Terry Patten.

Having spent more time on the couch and the BA bannercushion than any other group in society over the last fifty years, it’s a curious thing to note that even after decades of practice, most women still report a confusing and frustrating gap between the potential they sense for their lives and the reality they’ve been able to manifest. Most of us feel about ten months pregnant with no way of getting the baby out. We’re more accomplished, educated and successful than any other generation of women in history, yet we sense that somehow we’re missing the mark–that the potential for our personal and spiritual development, our relationships, the expression of our creative gifts and talents and our impact on the world could be much greater–and we’re right!

Join me to learn how you can unleash your own co-creative feminine power by applying the core principles and practices that have already transformed the lives of thousands of women from all over the world.

The call will be recorded if you can’t make it live.

You can participate simply by using your computer or phone — and it’s FREE.”

Great Abraham video on relationships, plus current astrological configurations

Thanks to David Childerley, again, here’s a tip and my pick for today as far as a “must listen.” It’s a video presentation by Abraham on relationships that is humorous, entertaining, insightful and inspiring. As the song goes…”Who could ask for anything more?!”

And I really liked shamic astrologer Tami Brunk’s update and perspective on the coming full moon and other current cosmic configurations…

Autumn Equinox and Full Moon in Aries

As if last week wasn’t powerful enough-this week we experience the Equinox nearly exact with a Full Harvest Moon in Aries, conjunct Uranus and Jupiter, which are at their closest point to the Earth. Add to that the fact that the Sun squares Pluto on Saturday-which is still in a power stance, having just stationed direct, and is nearly at a stand still. It’s clear to see that the T-Square is in fact very much activated and intensified at this time-even though this month we do not have the “super aspects” of Uranus opposite Saturn and Saturn square Pluto.

The Fall Equinox occurs on Wednesday, September 22. It is followed by the Full Harvest Moon in Aries, exact at 3:17 am Thursday morning. The near-full Moon can be seen at around midnight on Wednesday at the “top of the sky” near conjunction with Jupiter (and invisible Uranus). The Aries/Libra dynamic now activated by the Full Moon is a joyful invitation-energized by Jupiter and Uranus-to take decisive, clear, and committed action toward the fruition of our goals and dreams, in concert with others.

We are finding the balance between acting autonomously and independently and seeking collaboration with others. We are learning that there is no prescribed path to follow at the Turning of the Ages-we must carve it for ourselves. We must be willing to make mistakes, to stumble, and to try new approaches as we make our way into a renewed world.

As we emerge as agents of our own destiny and world changers in our own right Aries says-take risks! Be the pioneer and inventor you were born to be! Uranus and Jupiter urge us to embody our uniqueness and know we are given great strength as we do so.

The Autumn Equinox is a time of preparation for the winter months to come. It is a time of balance between dark and light, where the air takes on a magical quality and we see the beautiful trees beginning to turn colors in their own process of release. As with the recent activation of Spica we are invited to claim and celebrate what we have learned, created, and brought into the world over the past year. What do we wish to carry with us through the winter months to sustain us? What will we release and return to Source?

We have gained so much wisdom, clarity, and strength over these past months. It is important to celebrate and own this. So as we take focused action toward the lives and the renewed world our hearts say is oh-so-possible, we can make use of the foundation we have been building over the past year.

Sun Square Pluto–a Torch in the Darkness

On Saturday, the Sun squares Pluto, bringing new light and insight to the Pluto in Capricorn dynamic we have been experiencing since 2008. Capricorn is about the human-made rules, institutions, and structures that support a society and culture. Pluto represents the regenerative processes of the Underworld-the death and rebirth cycles that are part of Earth existence. Interestingly, the “official” begin date for our current recession has been set at December 2007–immediately preceding Pluto’s entrance into the sign of Capricorn in January 2008.

Since that time we have seen our global financial institutions falter precariously. We have seen that our political institutions’ adherence to “business as usual” is exacerbating, not addressing our current societal and planetary crises. The Sun squaring Pluto can be seen as a “torch” in the present darkness, offering a glimpse into the heart of the disintegration process modern human societies are facing, and insight into how we can best engage with this process.

To the degree that we can accept that the changes we are experiencing are in service to humanity’s evolution and the birth of a new era, we will be empowered to act decisively in those areas where we DO have control (Aries)–in collaboration with others (Libra). The Uranus Jupiter connection suggests that we are poised at the brink of tremendous evolutionary change. With Pisces in the picture we are reminded of the power of prayer and seeking spiritual guidance on this journey.”

#4- And Mercury just went retrograde yesterday, so I’m including these two articles on the subject that I found insightful. The first is from an excerpt of Risa’s Astrology (from the Santa Cruz based Good Times publication)…

“Mercury in Virgo turns retrograde Friday, Aug. 20 (12:59 p.m., west coast). The retrograde, till Sept. 12, lasts three weeks. Mercury retro joins five other starry retro big hitters—Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron. Retros are linked with the prefix “re”. We redo, review, re-visit, re-think, re-examine, re-evaluate, etc. ideas, thoughts, plans, studies, agendas created since Mercury’s previous retro, (April/May).  We look back, assess, refine, rest and recuperate from a mind exhausted with facts. With so many retrogrades, especially the major transformers (outer planets), the entire world is critically rethinking everything.

It’s an interesting time.

Havoc appears everywhere with everyone. How do we respond? We think of Mercury retro as an experiment, a time of no expectations, an astrological phenomena to observe with intelligent awareness, knowledge and humor. It’s an astrological fact that humanity assumes Virgo tendencies (internally analytical, mentally organized, discriminating, detailed and practical). However, none of this externalizes because our minds are internally reorganizing, evaluating and reflecting upon past information.

Mercury retro is excellent for study. When Mercury turns direct again, revelations appear, information is uncovered and since everyone had a respite from too much thinking, we are able to begin again with previous projects, ideas and planning—seeing them with a revitalized mind. For now, though, and for the next three weeks, the world should rest.

Saturday Saturn squares Pluto squares Jupiter, activating the ongoing Grand cardinal t-square. Constant challenges are being presented to humanity. We are being forced to do all things differently, with different (spiritual) purpose. (More at

And here’s the second article…

Uh Oh, It’s Another Mercury Retrograde ~ Stop worrying and start celebrating!

by Mystic Trish on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 8:34pm
Published: August 20, 2010 ~ By Mark HussonImagine that you are an early (900 B.C. or so) astronomer with a true love of planet surfing (which is a lot like channel surfing only your television set is a long tube with a warped piece of glass on the end of it).

Now imagine your astonishment when you realize that one of the planets you’ve been watching, the planet you call Mercury, stops moving in its predictable path. The little guy starts to slow down and before you know it—about a week after your first observation—you realize that Mercury is moving backwards—back through the path from whence it came!

The hair on your body (and it’s likely everywhere on your body—eww) is standing straight up. You begin to get dizzy as your mind races to help you decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. The thought occurs to you that this appears to be a great opportunity to “clean up” the past. You are so excited by your revelation that you jump to write your announcement and knock over the candle that was lighting your way. But the resulting fire was horrible and you realize that you must have been wrong. Now you feel that it is your responsibility to send messages of fear and terror throughout the villages. “Mercury moving backwards is a bad thing and we must seek to make this Messenger God happy. Sacrifice something—stop having fun, stop living if you have to, at least until Mercury decides to move forward again.”

And so began the birth of the ill-fated retrograde.Thousands of years later, we discover that Mercury wasn’t moving backwards at all. Three times a year, the Earth just passes Mercury in such a way that it—appears—to be moving backwards but it’s not. Unfortunately, in spite of our awareness, the terror struck by that early astronomer is still felt by many of you and you cower in dread every time it is announced that Mercury is moving Retrograde. Even though more than 50 percent of the top Fortune 500 businesses were launched under a Mercury Retrograde, and even though we have strong evidence to suggest that the God Mercury may be a myth, we still tend to heed our ancestors call to sacrifice in the hopes that the angry God will leave us unscathed this time around.

If you happen to be someone who broke out of that fear cycle and feel supported by a loving, Divine grace, then you’re likely to have a lot more fun during this retrograde. And while your friends are cowering, you get to be first in line for the great bargains and remarkable opportunities that often befall us during each retrograde. Here is a mini calendar to help you time your good fortune during this August 2010 phenomenon:

August 20: At 12:59 p.m. Pacific Time, Mercury stops moving forward and begins its retrograde motion. Psychic awareness is increased exponentially.September 3: The halfway point of the retrograde, good fortune may occur.

September 12: The last day of the retrograde, you may feel a little tired or unfocused as Mercury “stops” in order to gain forward motion.

In conclusion: the backward appearance of Mercury is one of those times when you can break the general trend of the culture and lead the way to lightheartedness and joy. We’ve learned to hide our heads in fear during the Mercury Retrogrades and I’m sorry for that. This August Retrograde is in Virgo and it is asking for you to be conscientious. Go the extra step to be of service and put fear in its place. Discard everything that isn’t aligned with your values (including articles and friends that spread fear and ask you to forget that you’re a part of a Divine loving light).

So make a pact with a friend to find the gifts that are brought to you during this retrograde and don’t veer from your commitment. Support astrologers and sites that help you reduce your fear and remember the truth of who you are. Cut your Virgo and Gemini friends some slack during this cycle, Mercury is their ruler and sometimes they just feel like they’re out-of-sync. Reassure them to stay true to themselves—they always benefit after a retrograde and if you don’t get a bit too hard, you’ll be a deeply appreciated friend for being patient.Mark S. Tip #2 – Master EFTer David Childerley has a free tap-a-long video to help people deal with all the change and overwhelm life may be bringing during this major “crunch time” (see previous astrology posts on the Cardinal T, lunar eclipse, Uranus in Aries, etc.) in the evolutionary process.

Tip #3 – And speaking of astrology, here’s a couple of links to updates from Elizabeth Jones at Astrology of Light on Uranus stationing retrograde and Saturn moving from Virgo into Libra…

Tip #4 – And finally,  here’s a neat article about making your own natural toothpaste with one of my favorite health and beauty aids–COCONUT OIL (for more info about the many benefits and uses of coconut oil, visit my web page on the subject).

How to Make Your Own Natural Fluoride-free Toothpaste by Kim Evans (

If you’re sick of fluoride based toothpaste, who can blame you? Fluoride is widely touted to protect our teeth, but it’s actually a poisonous chemical that causes cancer, damages our nervous system, and even creates weak teeth and bones. Fluoride is common in rat poison and the Nazis used to put it in the prisoners’ water – because it’s known to placate people and make them easier to control. Knowing this – if you haven’t already done so – it’s probably time to dump your fluoride toothpaste.

There are certainly many brands of fluoride-free toothpaste available at your local health food store or almost as easy, and likely better for you, you can just make your own.If you’re going to make your own toothpaste, coconut oil is the perfect place to start. Coconut oil is a key ingredient in homemade toothpastes because it’s a powerful, natural antibacterial and antifungal – so it works to kill harmful bacteria in your mouth while you brush.

Coconut oil is excellent for your gums and brushing with it regularly can eliminate bleeding, sore gums. The oil kills the bacteria that are responsible for gingivitis – and if you have gingivitis, you might want to massage some coconut oil into your gums regularly, in addition to using it in your toothpaste. Brushing your tongue with the oil helps with thrush, a fungal problem localized in the mouth, and to boot, coconut oil has been found to stop and even reverse some tooth decay.

Another key ingredient in homemade toothpastes is baking soda. Baking soda is used for two reasons. First, it’s a mild abrasive that provides a gentle cleansing. Second, it’s alkaline. Being alkaline, baking soda can neutralize acids in your mouth that are often at the root of tooth decay. Baking soda also absorbs odors and helps produce sweet breath. To make your own toothpaste, just use a fifty/fifty ratio of coconut oil to baking soda. Start with a small batch and use a few tablespoons of each. If you like, add a few drops of an essential oil, like peppermint or spearmint, for flavor and a bit of stevia for sugar-free sweetness.

After mixing your toothpaste, keep it in a glass container with a lid. Then, just spoon some out for use or just dip your dry toothbrush into it. The mixture doesn’t need to be refrigerated and because coconut oil is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, it’ll help keep your toothbrush clean and sanitary too.Coconut oil is liquid above 76 degrees and solid below, so the mixture can change consistency with the weather. You’ll also want to rinse with warm water to prevent the oil from hardening in your sink or drain.

Abraham-Hicks inspiring video and quote

Tip of the day:

Here’s a tip, by way of David Childerley, about an inspiring video from Abraham-Hicks on the art of allowing and how “it’s good to feel good.”

And here’s a quote from Abraham I thought you might like…

“Is harmony one note that everybody is singing? Or is it a whole lot of notes that are in vibrational harmony with each other? When you give your attention to anything, the Universe responds to it. When two of you are giving your attention to it, and there is no contradiction, it is a powerful vortex. That’s why a gathering such as this can achieve a great deal as you come together in greater and greater harmony and take thought beyond that which it has been before.”— Abraham
