Everything passes, soul sounds, Louis CK, free healing sessions & event, and Abraham x 2

PICK OF THE DAY:

Reduce your workload by 30% and increase your fun load by 30% and you will increase your revenues by 100%. And you will increase your productivity by 10,000%. (If there could be such a percentage.) More fun, less struggle — more results on all fronts. –Abraham

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Mystical image, stimulating words…..

Everything passes. It’s the one thing you can count on. So no matter whether you feel depressed, anxious, angry, elated or blissful, it will pass. And the next thing will arise and it will pass. You may then notice that presence seems to remain as the context in which everything comes and goes. You may try to hang your hat on that. But even that will pass. You will awaken even from that awakening. And if you see that this is the nature of life, an ever-changing river of experience, then you will never suffer again. To suffer is to carry something over in time. It is to falsely believe that you have captured this river in some way. Suffering cannot happen when you see that everything passes. ~ Scott Kiloby

# 7 – And from Abraham…

Someone has said, “the Universe has imagined it even better than you have.” And we like to add to that: The Universe got all of its information about what you like from you, and it has remembered every piece of it and has put it together in perfect formation. And so, the things that are on their way to you are so much better than you even know that you want. And as you allow them, the essence all of these things that the Universe knows that you are wanting make their way to you and appear in perfect timing for you.—Abraham

TIPS FOR TODAY:

#1 – The Enlightenment Fest is coming, the Enlightenment Fest is coming!

Change your energy, change your world

Discover how every alteration in your thoughts affects your energy. This is not about using your mind to change behaviors. It is much easier. It is about using your mind to influence your energy so the behavior automatically changes. The same holds true for all aspects of your life.

You will learn how the Universe works, how your energy interacts with it, what your energy is doing or not doing right now, and how to change it for the better. You’ll be able to apply this understanding to everything:

Creativity … finance … visualization … relationships … productivity … stress management … parenting … success … the possibilities are limitless.

During the six days of the Enlightenment Fest your eyes will open in a way you never thought possible, and things within and around you will begin to transform.

* Layer after layer of resistance, frustration, and confusion in your life dissipates.

* Your limitations fall to the wayside along with feelings of unhappiness.

* Whatever is holding you back vanishes.

The same holds true for restricting beliefs about your life. It is all automatic when you are in alignment.

You won’t have to buy anything to listen, and there are no strings attached. You get to listen free during the fest that begins on December 2nd. You can get your Free Pass here.

# 2 – A great story about love, compassion and not giving up. It ends with the message “When you have hope, the possibilities are endless.” Amen!

http://www.whitewolfpack.com/2013/11/a-paralyzed-doberman-miraculously.html

# 3 – The Mentors Channel’s 21-Day Gratitude journey comes to a close with an online program tomorrow hosted by Panache Desai….

Don’t miss this chance to deepen your gratitude practice alongside Award Winning Filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg, Founder, Chairman and Mentors Channel CEO Doron Libshtein, and Panache. You are invited to participate via the internet, call-in or SKYPE with your own questions for these luminaries.

Register here for this free, interactive event and receive a link to a gift from Panache. The event is tomorrow, November 26th at 1:00 pm ET. Come ready to be inspired by these three powerhouses as they share how to live RADICAL GRATITUDE and establish it as a keystone to your everyday life.

# 4 – And a powerful, thought-provoking quote from Abraham….

There is no source of evil. There is only a Stream of Well-Being, which you are allowing, or not. But under the name of righteousness and goodness and religion, you drop bombs on innocent children. And then you say, “It’s for the good of all of us.” And we say: we don’t see that. And you don’t see it from your Non-physical perspective, either. It’s only in your disconnection that those things make sense.—Abraham

PICK OF THE DAY:

This is such a great article from The Huffington Post…at least in my opinion…that I didn’t just want to post a link to it  in hope that people may check it out…..

How to Get Flat Abs, Have Amazing Sex and Rule the World in 8 Easy Steps

The covers of most men’s and women’s magazines have similar headlines: “Get Great Abs” and “Have Amazing Sex.”

From the looks of it, these two issues have been recycled over and over (with some other stereotypically gender-relevant articles thrown in) on every Men’s Health, Maxim,Cosmopolitan and Glamour cover since the dawn of time. In fact, I’d bet that if we could get a better translation of cave drawings, they would read something like “Grok get flat belly. Make girl Grok moan with joy.”

And we keep buying them. We keep buying this lie that these things will make us happy. I’ve had washboard abs (past tense) and I’ve had some pretty phenomenal sex. Neither one made me a better person. Neither one completed me or made my life more fulfilling.

We chase this idea of “I will be happy when… “

I will be happy when I have a new car. I will be happy when I get married. I will be happy when I get a better job. I will be happy when I lose five pounds. What if instead we choose to be happy — right now?

If you can read this, your life is pretty awesome.

Setting aside our first-world problems and pettiness, if you are online reading this, you have both electricity and WiFi or access to them. Odds are you are in a shelter of some sort, or on a smart phone (and then kudos to you for reading this on the go). Life might bump and bruise us, it may not always go the way we plan and I know I get frustrated with mine, but here’s the thing: You are alive.

Because you are alive, everything is possible. So about those eight tips…

1. Stop believing your bullshit.

All that stuff you tell yourself about how you are a commitment phobe or a coward or lazy or not creative or unlucky? Stop it. It’s bullshit, and deep down you know it. We are all insecure 14 year olds at heart. We’re all scared. We all have dreams inside of us that we’ve tucked away because somewhere along the line we tacked on those ideas about who we are that buried that essential brilliant, childlike sense of wonder. The more we stick to these scripts about who we are, the longer we live a fraction of the life we could be living. Let it go. Be who you are beneath the bullshit.

2. Be happy now.

Not because The Secret says so. Not because of some shiny happy Oprah crap. But because we can choose to appreciate what is in our lives instead of being angry or regretful about what we lack. It’s a small, significant shift in perspective. It’s easier to look at what’s wrong or missing in our lives and believe that is the big picture — but it isn’t. We can choose to let the beautiful parts set the tone.

3. Look at the stars.

It won’t fix the economy. It won’t stop wars. It won’t give you flat abs, or better sex or even help you figure out your relationship and what you want to do with your life. But it’s important. It helps you remember that you and your problems are both infinitesimally small and conversely, that you are a piece of an amazing and vast universe. I do it daily — it helps.

4. Let people in.

Truly. Tell people that you trust when you need help, or you’re depressed — or you’re happy and you want to share it with them. Acknowledge that you care about them and let yourself feel it. Instead of doing that other thing we sometimes do, which is to play it cool and pretend we only care as much as the other person has admitted to caring, and only open up half way. Go all in — it’s worth it.

5. Stop with the crazy making.

I got to a friend’s doorstep the other day, slightly breathless and nearly in tears after getting a little lost, physically and existentially. She asked what was wrong and I started to explain and then stopped myself and admitted, “I’m being stupid and have decided to invent lots of problems in my head.” Life is full of obstacles; we don’t need to create extra ones. A great corollary to this one is from The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz: Don’t take things personally. Most of the time, other people’s choices and attitudes have absolutely nothing to do with you. Unless you’ve been behaving like a jerk, in which case…

6. Learn to apologize.

Not the ridiculous, self-deprecating apologizing for who you are and for existing that some people seem to do (what’s up with that, anyway?). The ability to sincerely apologize — without ever interjecting the word “but” — is an essential skill for living around other human beings. If you are going to be around other people, eventually you will need to apologize. It’s an important practice.

7. Practice gratitude.

Practice it out loud to the people around you. Practice it silently when you bless your food. Practice it often. Gratitude is not a first world only virtue. I saw a photo recently, of a girl in abject poverty, surrounded by filth and destruction. Her face was completely lit up with joy and gratitude as she played with a hula hoop she’d been given. Gratitude is what makes what we have enough. Gratitude is the most basic way to connect with that sense of being an integral part of the vastness of the universe; as I mentioned with looking up at the stars, it’s that sense of wonder and humility, contrasted with celebrating our connection to all of life.

8. Be kind.

Kurt Vonnegut said it best (though admittedly, and somewhat ashamedly — I am not a Vonnegut fan): “There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.'”

Kindness costs us nothing and pays exponential dividends. I can’t save the whole world. I can’t bring peace to Syria. I can’t fix the environment or the health care system, and from the looks of it, I may end up burning my dinner.

But I can be kind.

If the biggest thing we do in life is to extend love and kindness to even one other human being, we have changed the world for the better.

That’s a hell of a lot more important than flat abs in my book.

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Perseverance and courage!

# 2 – A recent thought-provoking, stimulating Note From the Universe (tut.com) that came to my inbox….

The more you believe in appearances, in the story told by your physical senses and in the circumstances that you now find yourself in, the less control you have over them.

What’s real is your power to change them.

All things are possible.

Dang,
The Universe

# 3 – Holy cow (or I guess I should say bird)! Mother Nature is absolutely amazing! Beauty such as this definitely makes the evolutionary process easier. I can see why there is the saying “the bluebird of happiness” because it’s hard to not be uplifted by something like this….

# 4 – Lucas over at Yoga Body Naturals is offering a free Fit, Flow, Fly yoga DVD when you buy a 6 mos. supply of his extremely popular Green Me Up! drink mix, but the supply is limited so it will probably be sold out by the end of today. Act fast if you want in on this!
#1 – You get a free DVD with a 6-month supply. This is a never-before-released “Fit, Flow, Fly” yoga practice DVD with Youtube sensations Briohny & Dice. They have a truly unique and challenging approach to practice you’ll love.

#2 – This is really a limited time, so we’ll likely run out today. A good chunk of this first batch has already been gobbled up (well, drunk up) by my staff, so it’s first come, first serve… next batch probably won’t be in until 2014.

# 5 – And the situation in Japan continues to worsen. Children of the Sun Foundation is organizing a global event to help the people and dire conditions of this country. What affects Japan, affects the world, so we’re all in this together. If you would like to contribute your prayers and energy to the process, you can find out more here….

Each morning, find the blessing, simple religion, cleaner oceans, healthier food, and a double dose of Abraham

PICK OF THE DAY:

Oh to awaken each morning with a smile brightening my face; to greet the day with reverence for the opportunities it contains; to approach my work with a clean mind; to hold ever before me, even in the doing of little things, the ultimate purpose toward which I am working; to meet men and women with laughter on my lips and love in my heart; to be gentle, kind, and courteous through all the hours; to approach the night with weariness that ever woos sleep and the joy that comes from work well done – this is how I desire to waste wisely my days. — Thomas Dekker

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Always look for the blessing; often it’s not immediately obvious, but if we look for it, it will be there…..

# 2 – Words to live?

# 3 – Some good news for the environment. Boy, “youngsters” are really coming up with some great ideas these days…

http://www.classwarfareexists.com/the-invention-that-solves-plastic-pollution-in-the-pacific/

# 4 – And speaking of good news and cleaning up the environment, check out my recent post on Self-help Health about a great little device that can not only help you stay healthier, but save you lots of money, AND help clean up the environment. Yes!

http://selfhelphealth.wordpress.com/2013/09/16/a-revolutionary-way-to-save-on-food/

# 5 – And a double dose of Abraham….

“I must be aware of bad things, and guarded about bad things, and I must watch out for bad things by trying to guide myself toward good things.” You can’t do both at the same time. You can’t watch out for bad things, and allow good things at the same time. It is vibrationally not possible.”

And this one is from the book Money and The Law of Attraction

Once you are able to achieve and consistently maintain your personal alignment, a great deal of money will flow into your experience (if that is your desire).

Do not let others set the standards about how much money you should have— or about what you should do with it— for you are the only one who could ever accurately define that. Come into alignment with who-you-really-are, and allow the things that life has helped you to know that you want to flow into your experience.

Ego traps, cognitive dissonance, feed your dreams, and Abraham

PICK OF THE DAY:

Ah, nothing like thinking there is a “right way”/spiritual idealism and judgment to throw a monkey wrench into the evolutionary process…

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 –  A fairly long read, but an interesting, insightful article about cognitive dissonance and learning to use it to your advantage…

http://crackyouregg.com/cognitive-dissonance/?inf_contact_key=399bd8880eb8b7f65090517060de1e4de65fbd2f3dabab1691a1b868d1ff4881

# 2 – Lest we forget….

# 3 – A sweet little video of an interaction between Robin Williams and Koko the gorilla. You can tell that they get that we are all One….

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1391741487710079&set=vb.136336876521150&type=2&theater

# 4 – Yoga Body Naturals is going more digital and green so they are having a garage sale on certain hard copy items, plus offering free shipping! Quantities are limited, so get crackin’ if you’re interested in taking advantage of this.

# 5 – Love this one from Abe….

Love and appreciation are identical vibrations. Appreciation is the vibration of alignment with who-you-are. Appreciation is the absence of everything that feels bad and the presence of everything that feels good. When you focus upon what you want – when you tell the story of how you want your life to be – you will come closer and closer to the vicinity of appreciation, and when you reach it, it will pull you toward all things that you consider to be good in a very powerful way.—Abraham

(FYI, Gratitudelog.com is a great place where you can log what you’re grateful for, as well as read what others are giving thanks for. Be sure to stop by and say “hi” if you visit the site.)

Self care tips, Guy Finley, fish facts, good advice, free DVD, and being free

TIPS FOR THE DAY:

# 1 –

# 2 – Some stimulating answers from Guy Finley to a couple of readers’ questions…

Is there a way we can know we are ready to teach others? I have tried and found I normally make things worse. How do I find the balance between the urge to help and when to be quiet?

It is the essence of our lives that determines the relationships we have with others. Teaching is a lot simpler than we imagine. For instance, what do we teach others when we are angry or anxious? What do we teach others when they see us afraid of some news? This is one level of teaching. On the other hand, there are natural times when (and this is important to note) someone you know will actually ask you for some insight or help. Then not only is it natural, but necessary, that you give what “water” you can to ease their thirst. Under no circumstances should you try to teach others anything they haven’t asked for. This kind of teaching comes from the wrong parts of ourselves and is a secret act of aggression and arrogance. Learn to taste the difference. The Truth will take care of the rest.

What mistake can there be in presenting a few truths to others with the hope that the ideas will help them with their spiritual development? Must they be “receptive”?

There are laws that govern all things, including our own development as well as that of others. Sometimes the most difficult, yet most true, thing we can do in the moment is to let others learn what is true for themselves. Sometimes we attempt to “help others” because we are unconsciously trying to change them according to our own ideas of what they should be like. When we do this, it not only creates resistance in the person we address, but it keeps us asleep to our own interior and misguided ambitions. We must all learn to be awake around others so that we can learn to feel whether or not what that person asks is arising from a genuine wish to know.

BTW, if you would like a free Welcome Kit from Guy Finley’s Life of Learning Foundation go here.

# 3 – Wow, I’d heard that it was better to eat wild salmon than farmed salmon, but really didn’t know much about the why of it. This article is an eye-opener. If you eat fish, you should read this….

# 5 – Great pic, good advice…

# 6 – A good read by Tama Kieves on “being free and being me,” which begs the question “What does success really mean to you?”….

# 7 – And some input from Abraham…

“Your emotion, your indicator of vibration, is indicating the ratio between your currently focused desire and any other belief or thought that you hold about same. When you feel negative emotion, anger about something, or fear… the name of the emotion does not matter, it always means that there is a desire within you that, in this moment, you are contradicting with some other thought.

Your emotions are always about your relationship with your own desire, and nothing else.”—Abraham

Our true identity, Denmark’s energy efficiency, miracles, super smoothie, and Eckhart Tolle

PICK OF THE DAY:

I’ve been using the Effortless Efficiency audio from Mind Power MP3s  as I work on the computer and just love it!

This 45 minute long piece entrains both sides of the brain separately (be sure to listen using headphones) to substantially improve focus and concentration while keeping you relaxed and feeling good. This track is well suited for studying, working at the computer, and reading. It will also begin to regulate sleeping rhythms as a natural side effect of listening to it on a regular basis. The music is the popular The Four Seasons composition by Vivaldi, which has always been a favorite of mine. Here’s what others are saying…

I found this track to be extremely effective kept at low volume at my work desk. It is one of my favorite pieces of music, very easy to work and concentrate to. And I was able to keep focussed on my tasks and enjoy the music at the same time! Thank you!” Jeanne

“Wow, that was great! Before I listened to it, I felt tired and a little depressed, but I now feel centered, alert and don’t feel a bit depressed.” Bob

“Nice music! Felt relaxed and in a better mood after listening” Jade

“These classicals always make me clean the whole house with much gusto and very little physical effort! With the added BWE,that get-up and go feeling is there” Cheryl

P. S. Don’t forget to get your 20 (yes, 20!) free gifts from Mind Power while you’re there

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 –

# 2 – Wow, Denmark, way to go! USA take note!

Denmark is no stranger to green energy, but this latest news is something special. With its latest 3.6 megawatt offshore wind turbine up and running, Denmark has just stepped over the one gigawatt wind energy threshold. That’s almost enough power to send a Delorean back in time, and it also just happens to be a full 25 percent of Denmark’s entire energy needs. The government of Denmark isn’t satisfied with 25 percent. The nation is plowing ahead with an ambitious plan to be a whopping 50 percent powered by wind turbines in just eight years time. That’s actually faster than a plan that Denmark itself proposed only last year, which called for only 35 percent of the nation’s energy needs to be met by offshore wind.Building more wind turbines by themselves won’t allow Denmark to meet its lofty goals: going hand in hand with the new construction is a series of energy saving political reforms, along with the adoption of energy efficient technologies. Denmark’s ultimate goal of being entirely powered by renewable energy by 2050 looks more possible, if no less astounding, than ever.Forbes via Inhabitat
# 3 – Don’t forget…

# 4 – Give this super smoothie from Hungry for Change a try…

1 banana, handful of frozen berries, 1/2 an avocado, handful of spinach, 2 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp maca powder, 1 tsp cacao powder, 1 tsp bee pollan, 1 tsp raw honey, 2 tsp spirulina and 2 cups of almond milk.  Blend together and enjoy :)

# 5 – And I thought this fit in nicely with Tips 1 & 3…

“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” – Eckhart Tolle

5/4/13 Note: I tried the 1st recipe the other day and loved it…ate the whole thing in one sitting. The “sauce” is great….could be used on a variety of things or as a salad dressing, especially on a nice, crisp spinach salad. Next time I will make a double recipe!

# 2 – A great tradition! May we all remember our song and find people who are willing to sing it with us, to us, and for us!

A Child’s Song By Alan Dana CohenThere is a tribe in Africa where the birth date of a child is counted not from when they were born, nor from when they are conceived but from the day that the child was a thought in its mother’s mind. And when a woman decides that she will have a child, she goes off and sits under a tree, by herself, and she listens until she can hear the song of the child that wants to come. And after she’s heard the song of this child, she comes back to the man who will be the child’s father, and teaches it to him. And then, when they make love to physically conceive the child, some of that time they sing the song of the child, as a way to invite it. And then, when the mother is pregnant, the mother teaches that child’s song to the midwives and the old women of the village, so that when the child is born, the old women and the people around her sing the child’s song to welcome it. And then, as the child grows up, the other villagers are taught the child’s song. If the child falls, or hurts its knee, someone picks it up and sings its song to it. Or perhaps the child does something wonderful, or goes through the rites of puberty, then as a way of honoring this person, the people of the village sing his or her song. In the African tribe there is one other occasion upon which the villagers sing to the child. If at any time during his or her life, the person commits a crime or aberrant social act, the individual is called to the center of the village and the people in the community form a circle around them. Then they sing their song to them. The tribe recognizes that the correction for antisocial behavior is not punishment; it is love and the remembrance of identity. When you recognize your own song, you have no desire or need to do anything that would hurt another. And it goes this way through their life. In marriage, the songs are sung, together. And finally, when this child is lying in bed, ready to die, all the villagers know his or her song, and they sing—for the last time—the song to that person. You may not have grown up in an African tribe that sings your song to you at crucial life transitions, but life is always reminding you when you are in tune with yourself and when you are not. When you feel good, what you are doing matches your song, and when you feel awful, it doesn’t. In the end, we shall all recognize our song and sing it well. You may feel a little warbly at the moment, but so have all the great singers. Just keep singing and you’ll find your way home. —

# 3 – In my 4/18 post I inadvertantly used the link in Tip #2 again in Tip # 3 as the link to a great article by The Wealthy Spirit author Chellie Campbell on money and fun.

I’ve since corrected the error, so people visiting that page now will be directed to the right place. But I wanted to be sure that those of you who viewed the page previously had a chance to read it, too, so am using it as a tip again today. Plus, it ties in so nicely with today’s Abraham quote (Tip # 5)!

# 5 – Joy your way to joy!

“Life is supposed to be fun. You said, “I’ll go forth and choose. I’ll look at the data, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this; and I’ll paint a picture of the things that I want, and I’ll vibrate about them because that’s what I’m giving my attention to. And the Universe will respond to my vibration. And then I’ll stand in a new place where a whole new batch of yeses are available, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this.” You did not say, “I’ll go forth and struggle into joy,” because from your Nonphysical Perspective you know it is vibrationally not possible. You cannot struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy that good things come.”— Abraham
